Film rights to Jason Pinter’s “The Mark” have been picked up by Treasure Films with Paddy Breathnach (“Blow Dry,” “Shrooms,” “I Went Down”) attached to direct.
The story follows a young reporter named Henry Parker who is accused of murder and must clear his name while being hunted by the FBI, the mob and a demented assassin.
Paddy McDonald will produce. Pinter himself admits on his blog that “I have no idea if a movie will ever actually get made. I’m certainly crossing my fingers. But I have spoken to the producer, who was very, very cool and excited and made it seem like a real possibility.”
