20th Century Fox is set to adapt Kate DiCamillo’s upcoming children’s novel “The Magician’s Elephant” says Variety.
The story centers on impossible things that may happen when a fortune teller tells an orphan boy that an elephant will lead him to his long-lost sister.
Martin Hynes (“The Go-Getter”) has been hired to pen a script. DiCamillo also penned the novel’s “The Tale of Despereaux” and “Because of Winn Dixie” which have been adapted.
