Last night came the news that Kurt Russell will play Peter Quill’s father, Ego (aka Ego the Living Planet), in the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel.
To clear up the inevitable confusion, director James Gunn says: “Yeah, his dad is a planet. Sort of. It will all be explained in the film”. Now, Marvel has also revealed Russell’s costume in the film which you can see below. The movie opens May 5th next year.
