French actress Isabelle Huppert has joined “Captured” for Filipino filmmaker Brillante Mendoza (“Kinatay,” “Lola”) reports Ion Cinema.
The story follows a foreign missionary (Huppert) who is caught up in a hostage-taking of foreign nationals by Philippine group Abu Sayyaf.
Didier Costet will produce and funding is currently being sought.
