Alex Proyas (“The Crow,” “I, Robot”) is in negotiations to direct the ancient Egyptian-set fantasy epic “Gods of Egypt” for Summit Entertainment says Heat Vision.
The story sees a mortal, a god and a goddess unite to fight an evil force in ancient Egypt.
Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, who’ve worked on developing “Dracula: Year Zero” with Proyas, wrote the script.
