A new casting call sent out in the U.K. for J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode VII” appears to suggest the production needs a Wookie.
Den of Geek has posted the casting call, which appeared on the casting and auction service Spotlight. “Walt Disney Pictures/LucasFilm/Bad Robot” are seeking the following for their ‘UNTITLED STUDIO FEATURE’:
“Male, 7 ft to 7.3 ft tall with a slim/thin build and upright posture. Not too worked out or too ‘thick set’ especially in the shoulders. Broad facial features would be a bonus”.
The original Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew stood 7’3″ with a physique matching that of the description. Filming begins in early 2014.
