Vera Farmiga and Dax Shepard have joined the cast of David Dobkin’s “The Judge” at Warner Bros. Pictures, Team Downey and Big Kid Pictures.
Robert Downey Jr. plays a lawyer who returns home after his mother’s death only to learn that his estranged father, the town’s judge (Robert Duvall), is suspected of murder.
Farmiga will play a waitress who never left the small town, and has a connection to the attorney’s past. Vincent D’Onofrio also stars, while Nick Schenk penned the script.
Shooting kicks off this June in Boston.
