“jOBS,” the Ashton Kutcher-led biopic of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, has been indefinitely delayed.
Distributor Open Road Films had originally planned to release the Matthew Whiteley-directed film on April 19th, and now has quietly pulled the film from that date. A new date has yet to be announced.
The film’s financiers were reportedly keen on getting the film out in time for the company’s 37th anniversary this month – but the distributor simply didn’t have enough time to prepare for a proper release, which explains the pull.
The movie closed this year’s Sundance Film Festival back in January, where it received a relatively tepid reaction.
