Sony Pictures is locking down a deal which would see the creation of a franchise centered around the character of Robin Hood.
Cory Goodman (“Priest,” “The Last Witch Hunter”) and Jeremy Lott (“The Falling,” “Lore”) penned the pitch, called “Hood,” which calls for a series of movies about the outlaw and his Merry Men: Little John, Friar Tuck and Will Scarlett. Think a kind of hero team-up film set in the Middle Ages.
The tone is said to be of an action/heist variety along “Mission: Impossible” and “Fast and the Furious” lines.
