The long-awaited film adaptation of the video game series “Assassin’s Creed” is finally becoming a reality and today the first set photos from the project have gone online.
Ubisoft’s head of content Azaizia Aymar paid a visit to the film’s set in Malta where shooting has been underway for just over a month. Though the production has to be kept under wraps, Aymar was able to take some snaps on set showing off some present day set sequences.
Specifically he snapped a look at the Abstergo Industries logo along with posing alongside director Justin Kurzel on set. In the games, Abstergo is a multinational front for the modern Templar Order. The film will be set within the video game world, but it will tell a quite different story.
Ariane Labed, Michael K. Williams, Carlos Bardem and Denis Menochet also star in the project which Kurzel directs from a script by Scott Frank, Michael Leslie, Bill Collage and Adam Cooper.
