Tate Taylor (“The Help”) will direct the DreamWorks’ adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ debut novel “The Girl on the Train”.
The story follows a woman devastated by a recent divorce who spends her commute fantasizing about a seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day.
One morning, she sees something shocking there and becomes entangled in a mystery. Erin Cressida Wilson will adapt the work for the screen while Marc Platt will produce.
