Following on from its announcement last year, it now appears we know how much longer the extended ‘Rogue Cut’ of “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will be.
The news came via the British Board of Film Classification which listed the new ‘Rogue Cut’ release with a running time of 142 minutes and 37 seconds. In comparison, the theatrical cut was 131 minutes and 25 seconds – meaning an additional 11 minutes and 11 seconds.
As previously reported, much of the sequence is an excised subplot involving a jailbreak in the future timeline to save Rogue from a Sentinel compound – a scene offering Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and Ian McKellen’s Magneto more on screen action.
However there’s a complication. Bryan Singer saw that report and says it’s not correct. In fact, the new cut is said to be even longer:
For the record the Rogue Cut of #Xmen #DOFP is more than 17 minutes longer than the original cut. And has a few little changes I made. :)

This ‘Rogue Cut’ still has yet to secure a release date though is expected this Summer.
