“Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis” 30th Anniversary Trailer

A new trailer is out for “Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis,” the reimagining of the original 1996 first “Tomb Raider” game.

Created in Unreal Engine 5, it offers fresh visuals, skill trees, and an expanded Atlantis story that will tie in the various eras of Lara Croft together.

As Lara, harness your wits and athleticism to explore exotic locations lost to time. From the jungles of Peru to the ancient ruins of Greece, the deserts of Egypt, and a mysterious Mediterranean island shrouded in myth.

Traverse treacherous landscapes, solve deadly contraptions, and face lethal predators as you hunt for the scattered pieces of the Scion, an artifact of immeasurable power.

Polish game developer Flying Wild Hog (“Trek to Yomi,” “Shadow Warrior”) is working with Crystal Dynamics on the remake and potential remakes of 1997’s “Tomb Raider II” and 1998’s “Tomb Raider III” are rumored to be coming should this fare well.

The project is separate from the major new entry “Tomb Raider: Catalyst” which is due out in 2028 and serves as the furthest forward entry in the timeline to date – coming after “Tomb Raider: Underworld”.

“Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis” arrives in stores on February 12th 2027.
