First Trailer: “Heartstopper Forever”

Netflix has premiered the first trailer for the feature film conclusion to its fan-favourite coming-of-age romance drama series “Heartstopper,” releasing on July 17th.

The feature will pick up after the events of the third season finale in which Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), and many of their friends take their relationships to a new level.

Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them.

Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet. Meanwhile, their friends are also navigating the ups and downs of love and friendship, confronting the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving on. Can first loves really last forever?

Olivia Rodrigo’s song “Stupid Song” features in the trailer for the film which was penned by creator Alice Oseman and based on her sixth and final “Heartstopper” graphic novel. Connor and Locke executive produce.
