Paradise
Emmy winner Julianna Margulies (“ER,” “The Good Wife”) has joined the recurring cast of Dan Fogelman’s Hulu series “Paradise” for its third and final season. Details regarding her character and the third season’s plot are under wraps.

She joins a cast led by Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, James Marsden, and Shailene Woodley. The recent second season finale scored 4.3 million views globally in three days across Disney+ and Hulu. [Source: Deadline]

The Pitt
The second season finale of HBO Max’s “The Pitt” set a series ratings record, the 15th and final episode reached 9.7 million viewers through its opening weekend. The numbers come in ahead of production beginning on the third season in June.

The second season is also averaging 15.4 million viewers per episode to date across all episodes – a 50% jump on the first season. That puts it in sixth for HBO Max behind the likes of “House of the Dragon,” “The White Lotus,” “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” “The Last of Us” and “IT: Welcome to Derry”. [Source: Variety]

The Sentinels
The Canal+ French TV series “The Sentinels,” which blends steampunk, sci-fi and WWI action drama, has been acquired for the UK by the BBC for premiere later this year following a release over Europe, Africa, and Asia last year.

The story takes place at the outbreak of WWI, when a severely wounded soldier joins an elite unit of augmented soldiers known as the Sentinels and is soon confronted with a terrifying reality that could change the course of the war. [Source: Variety]

Devil May Cry
Netflix has premiered the full trailer for the second season of its hit animated adaptation of the video game series “Devil May Cry” which returns on the streamer on May 12th. The first season pulled in more than 5 million views in its first four days of release.

The show, and the games, follow a half-demon demon hunter as he fights to prevent the gates of Hell from opening. Adi Shankar serves as showrunner on the series which is animated by Studio Mir.
