Pixar Teases “Incredibles 3,” “Coco 2” & More

Disney used its D23 presentation this evening to showcase several Pixar animation titles.

First up, Benjamin Bratt appeared to confirm he’s reprising his role as Ernesto de la Cruz in the “Coco” sequel, which is set several years later with Miguel as a teenager (sporting a fade haircut to match).

In the new film, Ernesto sends Miguel on an adventure back to the Land of the Dead. The movie is targeting a November 2029 release, coming 12 years after the original.

The studio also teased its 2027 film “Gatto” and the new original Pixar movie “Ghost Market” releasing in 2028. That follows ghosts and a content creator who goes to Hawaii and discovers the crossroads of the living and the dead.

No cast or director was revealed for that film, only a clip of a teenager in a store with seemingly floating ramen bowls.

Disney also teased “Incredibles 3”, which is set just a few weeks after the events of the second film. The story will reportedly focus on the superhero kids and their evolving powers.

Violet and Dash are determined to step out on their own, which is causing some tension with their parents; Jack-Jack’s powers are growing exponentially, and a supervillain with more powers than all the family put together emerges.

Peter Sohn helms the third film which is set to hit theaters June 18th 2028.
