A new one-sheet for Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday” has been released; the poster features Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom in full costume.
Additional tickets for the film are also now on sale; this is all coming ahead of a new trailer for the film expected to premiere during Disney’s D23 major Entertainment Showcase kicking off at 7pm US-PT tonight.
Whether it is a full trailer, mini-trailer, clip, or something else is not clear at present. The panel itself is expected to feature multiple major announcements, such as a reveal of several “X-Men” cast members, first-look clips from “Star Wars: Starfighter” and a first look at the “VisionQuest” series.
Meanwhile, a variant of Doom’s suit has been spotted on the D23 convention floor, with the character’s mask and outfit offering smoother variations than the more textured and angular look seen in the ‘Doomsday’ promos.
Some fans have already chimed in, saying the new look is the same costume as the one the character used in the “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” cameo.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is set to hit cinemas on December 18th.
