Marvel Studios is currently in the midst of post-production on “Avengers: Doomsday” ahead of the film’s release in cinemas in December.
While the film will boast plenty of familiar faces from the Avengers, the Thunderbolts, the Wakandans, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men, one of the film’s stars wants to make it clear – this is NOT a cameo-fest.
Lewis Pullman, who played Bob Reynolds/Sentry in “Thunderbolts” and is technically one of the most powerful beings in the MCU, spoke with Esquire Magazine recently and says that despite the boatload of characters, everyone gets a good amount of screentime and in some interesting combinations:
“It’s going back to the serum of the human archetypes that our art is built off of. Every character has their moment that builds the dimensions of them. The Russo brothers did that so well. They do not want anyone just sitting in the background. They really took to heart the responsibility of having some of the best actors in the world all together. There’s a lot of really exciting pair-ups that happen. A lot of fans will be really excited. It’s so fun to dream about. What if A and B would work together? Would B and D would work together? You get to see a lot of those fantasies come into fruition.”
