The Secret Agent
The Best Picture Oscar-nominated and internationally acclaimed political thriller “The Secret Agent” will have its streaming debut on Hulu in March 1st. Set in Brazil in 1977 during the military dictatorship, the film follows a technology expert (Wagner Moura) forced to flee years before who returns to his hometown of Recife to reunite with his son.. What Happens At Night
A report from The Insneider in December has now been confirmed by the trades – Mads Mikkelsen will join Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming feature “What Happens at Night” at Apple Original Films and Studiocanal.

The dream-like story follows a married American couple who travel to a small, snowy European town to adopt a baby. Patricia Clarkson also stars in this Patrick Marber-penned adaptation of the novel by Peter Cameron. [Source: Deadline]

The Masque of the Red Death
Filming is officially underway on Charlie Polinger’s film adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Masque of the Red Death” at A24 and Picturehouse. Mikey Madison and Léa Seydoux star in the story of the noble class hiding out in a castle from a plague that devastates the peasantry, and a masked mysterious figure disguised as a Red Death victim making their way through the building. Doctor Who
The BBC has premiered the Sylvester McCoy-voiced trailer for the new 4K restoration of the 1996 “Doctor Who” telemovie starring Paul McGann and McCoy as The Doctor.

Re-scanned from the original film prints, the TV Movie has been restored to full 4K Ultra High Definition and will be coming to 4K and Blu Ray disc soon, and is already available to pre-order.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Two more TV spots are out for Nintendo, Illumination and Universal Pictures’ “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” the clips putting a focus on Bowser and Yoshi in the new film which opens in cinemas everywhere on April 1st.

Chris Pratt (Mario), Charlie Day (Luigi), Anya Taylor-Joy (Princess Peach), Jack Black (Bowser), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad), and Kevin Michael Richardson (Kamek) are all confirmed to be returning for the new film and are joined by Brie Larson as Rosalina and Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr.
