Focus Features has premiered the official trailer for the new World War II feature “Pressure” led by Brendan Fraser as General Eisenhower and Andrew Scott as Captain James Stagg.
In the tense 72 hours before D-Day, and the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, the film follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg as they face an impossible choice – launch the largest and most dangerous invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether.
Also starring are Kerry Condon as Kay Summersby, Chris Messina as Irving P. Krick, Damian Lewis as Bernard Montgomery, Con O’Neill as Trafford Leigh-Mallory, and Daniel Quinn-Toye as Michael Gregory.
The historical drama is slated to arrive in theaters on May 29, 2026, pitting it directly against the upcoming horror movie Passenger at the box office.
The film has been directed by Anthony Maras (“Hotel Mumbai”) who co-wrote the screenplay with David Haig based on the 2014 stage play by Haig. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Lucas Webb, and Cass Marks produce.
“Pressure” is set to open in cinemas on May 29th.
