Analysts Wavemetrix have revealed that the recent trailer for Guy Ritchie’s “Young Sherlock” series on Amazon Prime has pulled in 223 million views in its first seven days.
That’s the most-watched Amazon series trailer ever in that timeframe, beating the previous record holder, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” Season 1, with 163.6 million views. Hero Fiennes Tiffin stars in the series which launches March 4th. [Source: Deadline]

Actress Katee Sackhoff has revealed that Mike Flanagan’s upcoming mini-series adaptation of Stephen King’s “Carrie” is targeting a release in time for Halloween, saying on a panel this past weekend in Vancouver the title was aiming for an October release on Amazon Prime. The streamer has not confirmed the date at this time. Shooting on the series wrapped in October last year. [Source: The Direct]
The Assassin
Amaozn Prime Video has confirmed that the Keely Hawes and Freddie Highmore-led “The Assassin” will return for a second season with filming to begin later this year. Shalom Brune-Franklin and Devon Terrell also return.
The first season saw Hawes as a retired assassin on an idyllic Greek island whose life is turned upside down when her son (Highmore) arrives looking for answers about his paternity. The Vampire Lestat
A brief new promo for AMC’s “The Vampire Lestat,” the third season of “Interview with the Vampire,” has been released and confirms the series is targeting a release in Summer this year. An adaptation of the second novel in “The Vampire Chronicles” series, the second season shifts the focus more to Lestat as he becomes a rock star in the modern day.
