Red, White & Royal Wedding
Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”) and Chloe Fineman (SNL) have joined the cast of Amazon MGM Studios sequel “Red, White & Royal Wedding”. Headey will play Princess Catherine while Fineman’s role is being kept under wraps.

Werwulf
Filming has wrapped on “Nosferatu” and “The Northman” director Robert Eggers’ new film “Werwulf”. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe and Ralph Ineson star in the film which was shot across the UK over a span of 82 days. The story is set in England of the thirteenth century, where folklore about a creature turns into a frightening reality and has been dubbed Eggers’ darkest film to date. It opens at Christmas. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
The “Game of Thrones” prequel spin-off “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” pulled in 6.7 million viewers across all platforms in its first three days of availability – one of the top three series launches in the history of HBO Max. The series has already been renewed for a second season and comes ahead of the third season of “House of the Dragon” premiering later this year. [Source: Variety]
The Abandons
Netflix has cancelled a pair of series including “Sons of Anarchy” creator Kurt Sutter’s recent western series “The Abandons” and the comedy series “The Vince Staples Show” which was axed after two seasons.
“The Abandons” was set in 1850s Oregon and starred Lena Headey, Gillian Anderson, Nick Robinson, Lucas Till and Ryan Hurst. It mostly made headlines for Sutter exiting the project over creative differences after Netflix saw rough cuts of the first episodes. [Source: THR]
