Following that first look teaser back in August, Netflix has now premiered a new trailer for the second season of its live-action adaptation of the iconic anime “One Piece”.
The new clip showcases the various members of the assassin group known as Baroque Works, with a strong emphasis on Miss All Sunday/Nico Robin (Lera Abova).
The clip gives us first looks at a number of characters including David Dastmalchian’s Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson’s Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn’ Miss Valentine, Yonda Thomas’ Mr. 8, and Charithra Chandran’s Miss Wednesday/Princess Vivi.
The second season is set to adapt multiple arcs from the anime – including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden and Drum Island.
It follows the first season’s path of essentially compressing the events of five arcs and 45 anime episodes into a workable eight-episode season.
The second season arrives in full on the service on March 10th. A third season of the series is currently in production in Cape Town and is expected to arrive in 2027.
