“Bridgerton” S4 Date Announcement Trailer

Netflix

Netflix has announced that the fourth season of Shonda Rhimes’ hit period drama “Bridgerton” will be split into two parts. The first part will launch on January 29th 2026 with the second arriving four weeks later on February 26th.

The fourth season will be based on the novel “An Offer from a Gentleman,” the third book in Julia Quinn’s bestselling Bridgerton series. It centers around the love story between Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton and Yerin Ha’s Sophie Baek.

Timed with the announcement, a teaser trailer it out offering a glimpse of Benedict and Sophie’s first meeting.

The new installment deals with bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down.

That is, until an enthralling woman captures Benedict’s attention at Violet Bridgerton’s masquerade ball. While Benedict knows his love interest as only the Lady in Silver, she’s actually Sophie, a resourceful maid with her own secrets and dreams.

New cast members for the new run include Katie Leung (“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”) as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao (“A Big Bold Beautiful Journey”) as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei (“The Crow”) as Posy Li.

Returnees include Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte and more.

The series has already been renewed for fifth and sixth seasons.
