Mayor of Kingstown
Paramount+ announced on Thursday that the fourth season of Jeremy Renner-led crime drama “Mayor of Kingstown” will premiere Sunday October 26th.
New series regulars boarding the new run include Edie Falco as prison warden Nina Hobbs and Laura Benanti as new recruit guard Cindy Stephens along with recurring guest Lennie James as gangster Frank Moses.
In the new run, Mike’s control over Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left in the Russians’ wake, compelling him to confront the resulting gang war and stop them from swallowing the town. [Source: Paramount]
The Beast In Me
Netflix has set a November 13th premiere date for the eight-episode series “The Beast in Me” starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys. Danes plays a celebrated author who retreated from public life following the tragic death of her son.
Rhys plays a real estate mogul who was once the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance who moves in next door, she discovers fresh inspiration and finds herself compulsively hunting for the truth – chasing his demons while fleeing her own. Howard Gordon (“Homeland”) is showrunner and Gabe Rotter (“The X-Files”) created the series. [Source: Netflix]
All Her Fault
Peacock has announced a November 6th premiere date for the Sarah Snook and Dakota Fanning-led limited series “All Her Fault”. Megan Gallagher (“Wolf,” “Suspicion”) created the series based on the novel by Andrea Mara. Jake Lacy, Michael Peña, and Sophia Lillis co-star.
In the series, Marissa Irvine (Snook) arrives to collect her young son Milo from his first playdate, but the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognises. She doesn’t have Milo and has never heard of him. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare. [Source: Peacock]
Landman
Paramount+ has announced that Taylor Sheridan’s Texas-set hit series “Landman” will kick off a second season on Sunday, November 16th. Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore co-star.
The story follows Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) in the cutthroat world of oilfields in Texas, where roughnecks and wildcat billionaires are fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.
Wednesday
Netflix has premiered the official trailer for the second half of the second season of “Wednesday,” the preview teasing the remaining four episodes of the new installment of the hit mystery comedy which arrives on September 3rd.
Gwendoline Christie will officially be reprising her role as Larissa Weems in the new run, the character serving as Wednesday’s new spirit guide. Wednesday must also save Enid and her family from a vengeful Tyler.
