Good Fortune
A new photo has been released for Aziz Ansari’s new comedy feature “Good Fortune” which stars Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, Ansari, Keke Palmer and Sandra Oh.
In the story, a well-meaning but rather inept angel meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker and a wealthy venture capitalist in Los Angeles. Ansari writes and directs the feature which will hold its premiere at Toronto Film Festival. [Source: Variety]
In A Violent Nature 2
Filming will begin on a sequel to 2024 slasher feature “In a Violent Nature” this September in Canada. Chris Nash will pen and direct the new film. The original follows Johnny, a vengeful, undead killer who embarks on a bloody rampage after a group of teens steal a golden locket that awakened his spirit. [Source: Variety]
The Devil Wears Prada 2
Anne Hathaway has shared a photo of herself in character as Andy Sachs in “The Devil Wears Prada” sequel which is currently in production. Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci all return while Kenneth Branagh, Conrad Ricamora, Lucy Liu, Rachel Bloom (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) and Patrick Brammall (“Evil”) have also joined the cast. The film will see Streep’s Miranda Priestly dealing with the slow death of the print industry and opens May 1st 2026. [Source: Instagram]
Keeper
NEON has premiered the first trailer for “Longlegs” and “The Monkey” director Osgood Perkins’ new horror feature “Keeper” which opens in cinemas on November 14th. Nick Lepard pens the script while Chris Ferguson and Jesse Savath produce.
Dubbed a “relationship horror movie,” the film follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Rossif Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Tatiana Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.
