“Ted Lasso” Season 4 In Production Clip

Apple TV+

Almost a year after the plans were announced, Apple TV+ has confirmed that the fourth season of its soccer comedy series “Ted Lasso” is now in production in Kansas City, before moving to London.

Warner Bros. Television picked up the options on the three original cast members contracted under UK acting union Equity – Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Walton, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent and Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins.

Further cast were then contacted with confirmed returnees, including Jason Sudeikis’ Ted Lasso, Juno Temple’s Keeley Jones, Brett Goldstein’s Roy Kent and Brendan Hunt’s Coach Beard.

Others like Mohammed’s Nate and Phil Dunster’s Jamie Tartt haven’t been announced. The streamer opted to release both an official photo and a brief clip, which you can see below.

Despite the third season effectively serving as a series finale, it was never officially stated by Apple to be the final one.

In Season 4, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look.

The new run isn’t expected to air until sometime next year.
