NOLA King
Paramount+ has officially handed out a green light for the “Tulsa King” spin-off “NOLA King” starring Samuel L. Jackson. Jackson will first appear in the third season of “Tulsa King” premiering in September before moving onto his own series that will film in early 2026.
Jackson plays Russell Lee Washington Jr. who returns to New Orleans, the home he abandoned forty-years ago, to rekindle his relationship with his family, friends, and to take control of the city he left behind. Jackson, Stallone and Taylor Sheridan will executive produce. [Source: Variety]

Eric Graise’s master hacker Bobby Exley and Abby McEnany’s Velma Bruin have both exited “Tracker” on CBS, leaving the show with only two series regulars – Justin Harley as Colter Shaw and Fiona Rene as Reenie Green. Both will be out ahead of the third season which premieres on the network on October 19th. [Source: TV Line]
Cry Wolf
Brie Larson and Olivia Colman are set to star in the FX limited series “Cry Wolf”. Sarah Treem (“The Affair”) is showrunner on this remake of the Danish series.
Colman plays social worker and Larson a mother who are thrown into crisis when the mother’s teenage daughter alleges abuse. The allegations “push both women to their limits as they navigate an impossible situation.” [Source: THR]
Outlander: Blood of my Blood
Starz has released the title sequence for “Outlander: Blood of my Blood,” the upcoming prequel spin-off series focusing on the romances between the parents of the original show’s Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser – jumping between the events of WW1 and centuries earlier Scotland.
Vocalist Julie Fowlis performs the opening song for the titles which is an original song, partly in English and partly in Gaelic, from composer Bear McCreary. The original “Outlander” used the classic Scottish track “The Skye Boat Song”.
Platonic
Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for the second season of its hit comedy series “Platonic” led by “Bad Neighbors” co-stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne. The new season begins with the first two episodes launching on August 6th ahead of weekly debuts through October 1st.
The second season picks up with everyone’s favorite pair of best friends (Rogen and Byrne) as they contend with new midlife hurdles, including work, weddings and partners in crises. The duo tries their best to be each other’s rock – but sometimes rocks break things.
