Hercule
The first photo is out, showing Edward Bluemel as legendary Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in BritBox & BBC’s six-part adaptation of three Agatha Christie novels. The series will chronicle how Poirot became the world’s greatest detective, with shooting underway in Liverpool. Benji Walters (“Obsession”) will adapt.

Pagans
Steven Yeun will star in the Netflix horror series “Pagans”. The former “The Walking Dead” alum will play a single father struggling to raise two kids alone following his wife’s death.

While his son is typical, his daughter is anything but, and the strained relationship soon evolves into something far more sinister. Joshua Zetumer (“Say Nothing”) serves as executive producer and showrunner. [Source: TV Line]

Sakomoto Days
Netflix has premiered a new character trailer for the second season of its acclaimed anime “Sakamoto Days” which returns in January 2027. In the second season, Sakamoto and Shin will go undercover at JCC, a Japanese academy for assassins.

The heroes will attempt to gather information about the mysterious Slur, also known as X. Meanwhile, Nagumo, Shishiba, and Osaragi from ORDER will embark on a mission in Kyoto, where they will fall into an ambush.

Bass X Machina
Netflix has premiered the first look at “Bass X Machina,” a new steampunk western anime series about Bass Reeves, the first Black U.S. Marshal. The project is dubbed a “gritty, hyper‑stylized, kinetic action series”.

In the series, Reeves operates as a cool and slick bounty hunter in a realm full of homicidal outlaws, enormous war machines, and even supernatural terrors.
