NBC has premiered the full-length trailer for its upcoming “Suits” spin-off series “Suits: LA” which launches on Sunday February 23rd.
Former “Arrow” star Stephen Amell leads the cast as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who joined forces fifteen years ago with his old friend, the energetic and self-absorbed Stuart Lane (Josh McDermitt), to build the L.A. law firm Black Lane Law that specializes in criminal and entertainment law.
With the firm at a crisis point, Ted must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career in order to survive.
He is surrounded by characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.
Alex Scott Davis, Bryan Greenberg, Alice Lee and Troy Winbush co-star, while John Amos and Gabriel Macht guest star.
Aaron Korsh, who created the original series for the USA Network, is writing and executive-producing alongside David Bartis, Doug Liman, Gene Klein and director Victoria Mahoney.
Though “Suits” scored something of a cultural revival the other year after the show became available on Netflix, reaction to the spin-off has been more muted. Check out the full trailer for “Suits: LA” below.
