“Rebel Ridge” and “Green Room” filmmaker Jeremy Saulnier is back with A24 premiering the teaser trailer for his next film “Slayground”.
The official teaser arrives a month after a brief promotional clip launched a first look at the new film, which the distributor snagged in a fierce bidding war.
The project is dubbed a gritty, high-stakes chase story reminiscent of “The Fugitive” and a Halloween-set horror action thriller film. It begins on the night of October 24th with a mass casualty event at a haunted attraction.
The film follows ‘Metal Mike’ Graves, a man who wakes up at the attraction surrounded by the dead bodies of his co-workers with no memory of how they got there.
As a state-wide manhunt closes in, he races to uncover the truth – even if the trail leads straight back to him
Cory Michael Smith, Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Stanley Simons
Young Mazino, Stephen Root, James Badge Dale, Matty Matheson, Imogen Poots
and Rryla McIntosh co-star in the film.
“Slayground” is due out in cinemas on January 29th.
