With four episodes down, HBO and Max are halfway through the eight-episode run of its “The Batman” spin-off series “The Penguin”.
Ahead of Sunday’s fifth episode, the network has released a new mid-season finale trailer teasing what’s to come in the final run.
The battle is looming between Oz Cobb and Sofia Falcone, as they fight each other for the right to become Gotham’s next kingpin – both sides determined to take over Gotham for themselves as they assemble their armies.
Set a week after the events of “The Batman,” “The Penguin” sees Colin Farrell’s Oz Cobb attempting to seize power in Gotham’s criminal underworld following the death of Carmine Falcone.
Carmine’s daughter, Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone, returns to Gotham and wants to take charge of the empire – putting her in The Penguin’s crosshairs.
The series also stars Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni, Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar, and Michael Kelly as Johnny Vitti. Four episodes remain with the finale airing on November 10th.
