Mayor of Kingstown
Dianne Wiest will not be returning to Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ drama series for its recently renewed third season, her exit is said to be story-driven. Scripts were mostly written before the writer’s strike and are now being finalized as the strike is ending.
Wiest played Mariam McLusky, the matriarch of the McLusky family. In the second season finale Mariam found herself in a hospital after being accidentally shot in the stomach by the youngest brother Kyle McLusky (Taylor Handley). [Source: Deadline]
Hazbin Hotel
Amazon Prime has announced that Bento Box and A24’s animated series “Hazbin Hotel” is finally set to premiere in January next year. In addition, a second season is also in the works.
The project was picked up to series by A24 in August 2020 after the pilot’s online success on VivziePop’s YouTube Channel. The story follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of peacefully rehabilitating demons to reduce overpopulation in her kingdom.
Robbie Williams
The teaser trailer has been released for the four-part Netflix docuseries “Robbie Williams” which covers the popular artist and offers never-before-seen footage. Joe Pearlman directs for Ridley Scott Associates.
Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of his solo career, this chronicles his definitive rise to fame and stardom with hundreds of hours of intimate, never-before-seen personal archival footage and access to Williams himself. It’s due out later this year.
Masters of the Universe: Revolution
A new clip has been released from Kevin Smith’s “Masters of the Universe: Revolution” – released as part of Netflix‘s Drop 01 event. The clip sees He-Man battling Scareglow, whilst He-Man’s father in a robotic suit assists his son.
The new episodes serve as a second season of “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” animated series. It will premiere on the streamer in 2024.
Sonic Prime
Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the third season of “Sonic Prime”. In the new run, Sonic and Shadow trying to figure out what to do after Nine betrays Sonic and leaves both hedgehogs to die. It is said to be ‘Coming Soon’.
