It has been a busy day for streaming premiere date announcements.
First up, Paramount+ has set a September 19th premiere date for the release of the animated film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” on its service in North America.
The film’s availability in additional international Paramount+ markets will be announced at a later date. The release comes following the film’s theatrical opening in early August which saw it grossing $167 million worldwide.
Next up, Nickelodeon has officially announced a November 22nd premiere date for the sequel to the classic 1997 comedy “Good Burger” on the Paramount+ service.
Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell reprise their respective characters of Dexter and Ed in the film which, like ‘Turtles’, will ve released internationally at a later date.
Over on Disney+ the 34th season of “The Simpsons” has been set to debut on October 11th with all 22 episodes to join Seasons 1-33 available on the service.
The Rob Savage-directed adaptation of the Stephen King short story “The Boogeyman” has reportedly set a premiere date of October 5th on Hulu. The film was recently released on PVOD platforms.
Finally, Netflix has set a December 7th premiere date for the third and final season of the animated series “Hilda”. The final run of the Bella Ramsey-led series will consist of seven episodes and a 70-minute special.
