Former “The Crown,” “Outlander” and “Game of Thrones” actor Tobias Menzies has joined the cast of the Brad Pitt-led Formula One movie at Apple.
Pitt plays a former Formula One racer who comes out of retirement to compete alongside a rookie driver.
Menzies’ role is under wraps, but he joins Kerry Condon in the movie that is slated to begin production this summer around various Grand Prix’s.

In other casting news today, “Captain Marvel” and “No Time to Die” star Lashana Lynch has officially been set to join the forthcoming series adaptation of Frederick Forsyth’s seminal thriller “The Day of the Jackal” at Peacock.
In this modern reimagining, Lynch is set to portray the role of Bianca, a tenacious law enforcement agent determined to catch the notorious assassin named The Jackal (Eddie Redmayne).
Production is expected to begin sometime this year with showrunner Ronan Bennett (“Top Boy”), whilst Brian Kirk (“Game of Thrones”) is attached to direct.
