Paramount+ has premiered the full trailer for its upcoming original supernatural drama “School Spirits” starring Peyton List and which is set to premiere Thursday, March 9th on the streaming service.
List plays as Maddie, a teenage girl who finds herself trapped within the geographic boundaries of her high school after getting murdered by an unknown killer. She soon finds herself enlisted into an Afterlife Support Group which consists of several teen spirits who can’t seem to leave the place where they died.
With their help, she’ll try to solve her own murder and find out who is the mysterious person that ruined her life. The closer she gets to uncovering the truth though, the more secrets and lies she discovers both from the living and the dead.
Kristian Flores, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell, Milo Manheim, Josh Zuckerman, and Maria Dizzia co-star in the series.
The show is based on the upcoming graphic novel which hails from writers Nate and Megan Trinrud who created and executive produce the show’s eight-episode run. Oliver Goldstick has been set as the showrunner and executive produces along with Max Winkler who directs the first two episodes.
The series joins multiple original series on the way from Paramount+ alongside the just launched “Wolf Pack” along with spy drama “Rabbit Hole,” the musical prequel “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies” and a series reimagining of “Fatal Attraction”.
