The DC Comics adaptation “Black Adam” is still atop the box-office hierarchy this weekend, its third in a row.
The Dwayne Johnson-led film is on track to earn a further $17 million at the domestic box-office this weekend, beating out the arrival of Crunchyroll’s anime release “One Piece Film: Red” which is set to come in second with $10.3 million.
The Clooney & Roberts rom-com “Ticket to Paradise” looks to land in third and tracking to earn $8 million for its third weekend, down just 18% from its second outing and taking in a total domestic gross of $46 million so far. The film has earned a further $88 million overseas.
Horror tale “Smile” is projected to come in fourth and will increase its North American gross to $98.9 million this weekend. “Prey for the Devil” will come in fifth with a $3.5 million weekend, down 71% in its second weekend.
