Apple TV+ has announced that the second season of its Gary Oldman-led British spy thriller series “Slow Horses” will premiere on Friday, December 2nd.
Two episodes will launch on that date with the remaining four to air weekly until December 30th. The show’s first season arrived in April and scored good notices.
The series follows the members of Slough House, an espionage department where MI5 dumps everyone they deem unfit. Oldman plays Jackson Lamb, the group’s grumpy and hopeless leader>
The second season will deal with sleeper agents coming back to service, which puts the MI5 in danger and forces Slough House to act. The new run is based on Mick Herron’s novel “Dead Lions”
Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce co-star.
