Emmy award-winner Johan Renck (“Chernobyl”) and producer Michael Parets (“Spaceman”) are teaming their production company Sinestra with Fremantle for a TV series based on Antoine Wilson’s novel “Mouth to Mouth”. The story deals with the raucous L.A. art scene of the 1990s. [Source: Variety]
One of Us Is Lying
Peacock has released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of its mystery teen drama “One of Us is Lying” which returns on October 20th. Marianly Tejada, Cooper van Grootel, Annalisa Cochrane, Cooper van Grootel, Jessica McLeod, Melissa Collazo, Sara Thompson and Alimi Ballard co-star.
The series follows Bayview Four as they continue to grapple with the consequences of keeping a big and dark secret. Simon Says returns to torment and blackmails them with impossible tasks that jeopardize their reputation.
Spector
Showtime has released the trailer for their new four-part docuseries “Spector” about famed music producer and convicted murderer Phil Spector. The docuseries hits Showtime SVOD on November 4th before premiering on the network on November 6th.
Primarily focusing on the suspected murder of Lana Clarkson at his mansion in 2003, the series will retell the story of Spector and explore both his and Clarkson’s side of that fateful night.
