Peacock has handed a straight-to-series order to Mike Judge and Zach Woods’ adult animated series “In The Know,” produced by Universal Television and Bandera Entertainment.
The series follows stop motion puppet Lauren Caspian, who is NPR’s third most popular host and a well-meaning, hypocritical nimrod. Each episode follows the making of an episode of his show. [Source: Deadline]
Gangs of London
AMC+ has released the official trailer for the second season of Gareth Evans’ gritty crime thriller “Gangs of London,” which kicks off with two new episodes on November 17th.
The series deals with the power struggles between the international crime families that run the city and the undercover policeman working within the criminal underbelly in the wake of the Wallace and Dumanis crime family being in disarray.
Fleishman Is In Trouble
FX has announced that its eight-episode limited series “Fleishman Is In Trouble” will premiere with two episodes exclusively via Hulu domestically and Star internationally on November 17th. Jesse Eisenberg, Claire Danes, Adam Brody and Lizzy Caplan star.
The series follows a guy whose ex-wife disappears, leaving him with the kids and no hint of where she is or whether she plans to return. As he balances parenting, dating in his 40s, the return of old friends, and a promotion at the hospital, he realises he must take a more honest look at what happened to their marriage. [Source: FX]
NieR: Automata
Aniplex has announced a January 2023 premiere date for a new anime series based on the acclaimed 2017 PlatinumGames video game title “NieR: Automata” which has sold over 6 million copies since its launch.
The series stars the voices of Yui Ishikawa as combat android 2B, Natsuki Hanae as 9S, Hiroki Yasumoto as Pod 042, and Kaoru Akiyama as Pod 153. Check out the two teaser trailers below.
