The first trailer has arrived for “The Devil’s Hour,” a new British dark drama-thriller series hailing from rising writer Tom Moran and executive produced by former “Doctor Who” showrunner Steven Moffat.
In the series, Lucy Chambers (Jessica Raine) is a woman who wakes up every night at exactly 3.33am. Her eight-year-old son is withdrawn and emotionless, and her house is haunted by the echoes of a life that isn’t her own.
Now, when her name is inexplicably connected to a string of brutal murders in the area, the answers that have evaded her all these years will finally come into focus.
Peter Capaldi plays a recluse with a murder obsession who becomes the prime target of a police manhunt and claims to be both a time traveler and a fortune-teller. Nikesh Patel, Alex Ferns, Phil Dunster, Cecilia Blair, Thomas Dominique, Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty, Benjamin Chivers, Talia Walker, and Isaac Money co-star.
The six-episode series is scheduled to premiere on October 28th in Amazon Prime.
