“The 100” alum Richard Harmon has been set as a recurring new version of Captain Boomerang in the upcoming ninth and final season of The CW’s “The Flash”.
Previously “Spartacus” alum Nick E. Tarabay played the Digger Harkness version of the character across several Arrow-verse series until he was killed off in the fifth season of “Arrow”.
Now, in a post-Crisis world, Harmon plays the new Captain, who is now named Owen Mercer and has recently been released from Iron Heights and poses a danger to Central City.
The thirteen-episode final season of “The Flash” is slated to debut in 2023.
