GKIDS announced on Wednesday that the last of the “Rebuild of Evangelion” films – “Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time” – will come to U.S. cinemas in December.
Boasting a perfect 100% (8.7/10) score on Rotten Tomatoes, this marks the first time the film will be available in theaters in North America since its premiere in Japan last year where it became the most-watched movie in Japanese theatres in 2021.
It will premiere in nationwide theaters on three separate days – December 6th, 8th & 11th. Tickets are available from November 2nd via the Fathom Events website and GKIDS official site.
For those who don’t want to brave the cinema, all four ‘Rebuild of Evangelion’ films are available to stream on Amazon Prime, while the original “Neon Genesis Evangelion” 26-episode series and its two finale films are available on Netflix.
