Disney has announced that the thirty-third season of its long-running animated classic “The Simpsons” will be coming to the Disney+ service on October 5th. The news comes as a new “Simpsons” short titled “Welcome to the Club” to the club has already gone online on the service. [Source: Disney]

Untitled Ethan Coen Film
Beanie Feldstein will join Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan in Ethan Coen’s untitled new film at Working Title and Focus Features. Coen and Tricia Cooke co-wrote the film with the plot and character details under wraps. Shooting takes place this Fall. [Source: Deadline]

Solar Opposites
Hulu has announced an October 3rd premiere date for “A Sinister Halloween Scary Opposites Solar Special,” a one-off adult animated Halloween special based on Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan’s “Solar Opposites”.

It marks the second Halloween special in the works from Roiland at Hulu, the other being “The Paloni Show! Halloween Special!” coming on October 17th. [Source: Hulu]

Blood
Vertical Entertainment has scored North American and UK rights to filmmaker Brad Anderson’s horror film “Blood” which will come to theaters and digital platforms. No release date has been set as yet for the film, which also stars Sket Ulrich.

Michelle Monaghan plays a recently separated nurse and mother who moves with her kids back into her old farmhouse. Shortly after, her son’s dog and then her son become infected and start turning deadly. When she discovers a disturbing cure, how far will she go to save him? [Source: Vertical Entertainment]

Confess, Fletch
A new clip from the upcoming Jon Hamm-led “Confess, Fletch” film has arrived. The project is based on the mystery novels of Gregory Mcdonald, with Hamm starring as investigative reporter Irwin “Fletch” Fletcher, who is looking into a stolen art collection when a dead body winds up in his Airbnb rental.

He quickly becomes the prime suspect in the murder investigation. John Slattery, Marcia Gay Harden, Kyle MacLachlan, Roy Wood Jr., Ayden Mayeri, Lorenza Izzo, and Annie Mumolo co-star in the film, which hits cinemas, digital, and VOD on September 16th.
