The first photo and clip from the second season of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” have been released timed for the third annual Star Trek Day.
The photo offers a look at the legend that is Carol Kane who will be joining the cast in a recurring role through the new run. Kane plays Pelia, a highly intelligent engineer who solves problems calmly and brusquely.
Meanwhile the first clip centers on Melissa Navia’s helmsman Ortega when her hopes for finally getting to participate in an away mission are scuttled. The show’s second season already wrapped production earlier this Summer, but no air date is yet set.
