Jesse Ventura, who starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the original 1987 “Predator,” has praised the franchise’s newest entry “Prey” along with its leading star and helmer.
Posting on Twitter on Saturday evening, Ventura says: “Great, great film. Amber Midthunder you definitely ain’t got time to bleed. Welcome to the Predator family. [Director Dan Trachtenberg] thank you for making such a thoughtful, creative and wonderful film.”
Both Midthunder and Trachtenberg gushed over the approval from the former governor of Minnesota, Trachtenberg responding “Thank you sir! Thanks for watching and so glad you appreciated what we did!!”.
The film, the first “Predator” entry to debut outside of theaters, premiered on Hulu on Friday and has received an enthusiastic response with a 92% critics and 82% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
