The third film in the “Rocky” spin-off film series “Creed” is being pushed back by nearly four months – from November 23rd this year to March 3rd 2023.

The project, the first “Rocky” film without the presence of Sylvester Stallone, sees Michael B. Jordan returning not just as star Adonis Creed but also making his feature directorial debut.

Other returnees include Tessa Thompson as Adonis’ girlfriend Bianca and Phylicia Rashad as his stepmother Mary Anne, while Jonathan Majors will play the new antagonist to Adonis – Anderson Dame.

The move sees the film now opening against “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” rather than arriving right after the release of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” which it would have on its original date. ‘Wakanda’ was directed by first “Creed” helmer Ryan Coogler and recently scored 172 million views of its trailer in its first 24 hours.
