The trailer has been released for the experimental documentary feature “Moonage Daydream” which explores the life and work of the legend that was David Bowie.
Helmed by filmmaker Brett Morgen (“The Kid Stays in the Picture,” “Cobain: Montage of Heck”), the movie premiered at Cannes to rave reviews and sits at 93% (8.5/10) on Rotten Tomatoes.
It boasts never-before-seen footage and performances spanning Bowie’s 54-year career along with forty exclusively remastered Bowie songs. It’s also the first film to be officially sanctioned by Bowie’s estate.
NEON will release “Moonage Daydream” in theaters and select IMAX screens on September 16th.
