Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Warner Bros. Pictures has confirmed that “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” is set to get a Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday July 23rd. It joins “Black Adam” as DC features that will score Comic-Con panels this year.
The sequel sees the Shazam Family going up against the daughters of Atlas (Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu) and the weakening of the barrier between the mundane and magical worlds. The film opens on December 21st. [Source: Twitter]
Gentleman Jack
HBO will not proceed with the third season of Sally Wainwright’s period drama “Gentleman Jack” starring Suranne Jones. The cancellation comes a little over a month after the BBC co-production wrapped its second season run on HBO and was among the cabler’s lower rated original series. Red Dead Online
Hot on the heels of announcing the “Red Dead Redemption” remaster has been scrapped, Rockstar Games has announced that ‘major themed content updates’ to “Red Dead Online” are also being ditched as the company turns its attention to “Grand Theft Auto VI”.
The game will only continue to see monthly events which showcase existing mechanics along with new solo-friendly Telegram Missions. The last major update was released back in July 2021. [Source: CBR]
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
The upcoming Middle Earth-set “The Lord of the Rings: Gollum” game scored another gameplay trailer during the Nacon Connect event today showing off some locations you’ll have to crawl or sneak through. The game arrives on September 1st on all platforms.
