Amazon is planning to offer over 30 PC game titles for free to Amazon Prime subscribers as part of its Prime Day festivities.
Starting June 21st, Amazon will make more than 25 games available to claim for free like “Metal Slug 2” and two “King of Fighters” titles.
During the Prime Day event itself on July 12th & 13th though, Amazon will offer some bigger titles with the biggest by far being the “Mass Effect Legendary Edition” remaster of BioWare’s acclaimed sci-fi RPG trilogy.
Also on offer that day are “Grid Legends, “Need for Speed Heat,” two “Star Wars Jedi Knight” games and “Star Wars Republic Commando”.
It’s expected the titles will be PC only (no consoles) and tied to the Amazon Games app, GOG or EA’s Origin launcher – and so won’t be available to pick up free through Steam.
